The new museum of contemporary art MAXXI in the heart of Olympic, designed by British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid is an important step for anyone visiting Rome and want to find out about the “contemporary” of the capital. The structure, integrated very well with the neighborhood, is succeeding in order to propose new cultural initiatives; one of many of this summer season is devoted to electronic music. The event, by Fabrizio Red with Giulia Pedace, provided the 23 June at 12:00 and to 18:00 , is called LISTEN. It is a musical performance that has as protagonists the talented participants Certificate of Advanced Studies in Electronic Music and Sound Design, organized by University of Applied Sciences of Italian Switzerland (SUPSI), in a program that includes It’s Gonna Rain (Parts I and II), Come Out and Pendulum Music, famous songs signed by one of the leaders of the genus, Steve Reich, alternating with original electroacoustic compositions performed by the students selected edition 2012.
